From The Guardian dot CO dot UK and IOL dot IE (Ireland On-Line): Jonny Hurst was choosen Bard of the Boots, or soccer's (and England's) first Chant Laureate yesterday. Hurst will be paid £10,000 year, or twice the amount the Queen's Poet Laureate, Andrew Motion, receives.
